Tuscan Sun

As many of you know, I have been away for quite some time, and because of the country's circumstances where I lived, I was not able to contact any of you. Here is a picture of the Chateau de Ficion where I lived for 1 month as a vineyard trainee. Jauque, my trainer, ended up being the most diffucult man I have ever met, yet has become one of my best friends. I stayed in the upper room next to Jauque's 2 children, Ren and Eva overlooking the valley just down from the vineyard. We woke every morning to the songs of the roosters and spectrums of the sun, while we retired to our rooms by the misty dawn for the night.
My legs have strengthened from the lack of motor transportation we so commonly taken for granted in the Americas, and I have learned to better enjoy the simple splendor of solemn roads that seem to long to cite their history.
As you can see from the picture I was not alone. I spent most of my days walking the meadows, listening to the many variety of birds sing, and experience the Tuscan Dance, along side my "Mistress", Sarita... We were destined to meet, or better yet, our hearts yearned that some distant day our characters would unite in the fire of the sun, or as so many great poets have said, we fell in love. And much to the dismay of the train of destiny, which so relentlessly separates both sides of the land it so frequently sunders, we have not spent but more than minutes apart.
And oh the minutes, but are they not truly hours, days, or even lifetimes away.
Well I must go, for I feel such a greater avocation ahead, yet I cherish every moment as ardently as time permits me.
